The Story:
The Wallflower is about a girl who was called "ugly" by a boy, the first and only person to whom she confessed her love. This incident sparks a life change, and as a result Sunako shuns all forms of beauty, both in herself as well as in life. Concerned by her change for the worst, Sunako's aunt, the owner of a beautiful mansion where four very handsome students live, offers the guys free rent in her mansion if they can turn Sunako into a "perfect lady". While the four of them manage to make Sunako physically beautiful enough to become a lady, the problem lies with her attitude and interests (which Sunako has no intention of changing).

My Thoughts:
This one is easily one of my top favorites in the anime category. First notice it when me & my sister saw a trailer of it on Youtube, it has since been watch routinely every once a month for the past 2 years. I mean come on, who doesn't like watching an anime about insanely good-looking high-schoolers trying to befriend & change a school 'wallflower' (hence the title)? The ever so funny plotline and 'sparkly' graphics also helps a lot in 'gluing' us to our seats. I also especially like the fact that main character Sunako-chan is not exactly your typical 'i'm so innocent' type of wallflower. In fact, she can kick ass a lot more than the other 3 males combine (exclude Kyohei). And yes, I do dig the 'goth lolita' theme surrounding Sunako's dark character. There are a lot of (nose) blood being spilled in this anime but that still doesn't hinder me from watching it over and over again. A brilliant anime indeed!
